The Canadian Red Cross (CRC) is implementing a major community-based
reconstruction and rehabilitation program with the primary focus on shelter
construction project in Aceh Besar, Lamno, Calang and Nias for beneficiaries

affected by Tsunami of December 26, 2004 and earthquake of March 28, 2005.
We are also implementing Livelihood, Environmental Health and Disaster
Preparedness Management programs to help families and communities to improve

their quality of life. We are looking for qualified and committed
candidates to fill the following position on a fixed term contract basis.

Web Administrator

Based: Banda Aceh

Minimum required knowledge & experience:)

* Bachelor Degree education level

* 2 years experience in web development and web design

* Has experience in doing a document filing system

* Excellent communication skills

* Professional plus in English (written/spoken) , Bahasa Indonesia
(written/spoken) , Bahasa Aceh (spoken)

Main Responsibilities

1. Develop the intranet/offline website version of Database information
(Beneficiaries Database, Community Profile and CRC program database) and
Database reports (Beneficiaries Report, Housing Report, Land Title Report,
Document Monitoring report, IFRC Report, UNORC Report, etc) using a free
Content Management System (CMS) website development tools.

2. Merge the offline website of PMU-Shelter to the Intranet/offline CRC
Website

3. Work with Information and Community Outreach Unit to decide the web
design, web menu structure and web update system

4. Assisting the Information and Community Outreach Unit in the
creation and design of a "Lessons Learned" DVD.

5. Convert all the spreadsheet, word/text/document, pictures/photos and
video files into web base file for the web content

6. Database filing and archival for program closing.

7. Other tasks as deemed necessary

General Duties

* Respects and observes the staff regulations of the CRC in Indonesia

* Respects and observes the code of conduct of the CRC in Indonesia

* The employee may be asked to perform duties and task not covered in
this job description as well as to provide support to other departments when
necessary
